Meet our featured Urban Intern, Theresa Delano.

We asked Theresa a few questions about her experiences with Urban Interns. Here’s what she has to say:

What type of internship are you looking for?
I’m looking for a virtual and paid internship in the Internet Marketing field. I’m looking specifically for a social media and Search Engine Optimization position and a chance to learn how to run a successful business. I’d like to run my own business when I graduate and would love to learn from someone who has been through the ropes before.

Describe the kind of internship experience you want?
I am looking for virtual internship experiences where I still feel a connection to the person I am working for. My hope is that our working relationship is mutual—I will offer my employer as much as he or she is willing to provide in terms of experience and opportunity. I look forward to applying everything I know from school and previous work experiences.

Why would you be a great intern?
I enjoy what I do and am looking for an opportunity to join a team and help a company grow to the next level. I also have a wide variety of experience. I have a graphic design degree and I’m working towards a degree in internet marketing. I graduate in August and am always trying to teach myself more than my teachers can teach me.

Why did you choose Urban Interns?
