Entertainment Social Media Intern

Mammoth Advertising is a New York-based, award-winning agency that works with most major Entertainment and other high-profile clients.

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Intern to assist the busy Social Media department.  The ideal candidate should have passion for Social Media and entertainment, the ability to think strategically and to communicate their vision and ideas to colleagues and clients alike.  Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge and experience in Social Media marketing, social bookmarking, copywriting, and blogging.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

·       Assist the Social Media Manager in the day-to-day management of the active Social Media campaigns and strategies

·       Assist with Social Media copywriting

·       Help distribute content across social platforms

·       Optimize tags across multiple distribution outlets

·       Monitor community feedback in real-time and assist with fan engagement

·       Assist with content seeding efforts

·       Assist with research and Social Media reporting

·       Work internally with other departments to ensure proper execution of campaigns

·       Stay current with new technological trends within the Social Media space

Qualifications:

 Job Requirements:

·       Currently enrolled in college, preferably with coursework in some or all of these disciplines: advertising, creative writing, marketing, market research, brand management, consumer behavior

·       Complete proficiency with Social Media practices, tools and platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

·       A keen understanding of how social media marketing is applied to film, TV, publishing, gaming and sports brands

·       Excellent analytical and creative writing skills

·       Ability to coordinate and prioritize duties for multiple campaigns and clients

·       Demonstrated creativity, engagement and collaboration within social media
