Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a
part-time student intern to work with us for 4-6 weeks on a market study of new
initiatives in open source software.
About the Role
In this role you’ll be
working closely with one of the North Bridge partners, Michael Skok, and one of
the EIR’s, Adam Berrey, to do a survey of new initiatives in open source
software. You should expect to do 8-10 hours of work per week, and we think the
project should take about 4-5 weeks to complete starting in early January.
Responsibilities
Create a list of open source software projects that appear to have market momentumWrite summary descriptions of each project
Organize the projects into a market map
Identify the 2-3 founders or leaders of each effort
Produce a final document or presentation summarizing the work
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Technical skills and business acumen to understand open source software projectsDemonstrated experience producing high-quality reports and presentations
Passion for software, business and entrepreneurship
Currently an undergraduate or graduate student
You can work from home or school, but we'll want to meet every week in Cambridge or Waltham
