Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include working with our team of innovative developers to produce influential features for the CareShare healthcare social network.

You would work on some or all of the following:

- Graphic design for our user interface

- Helping our coders design our user interface

- Actually coding our web application

- Getting the word out about CareShare through SEO

- Designing and/or developing our mobile apps

- Helping us build and execute a strong public relations strategy

Qualifications:

Specific qualifications necessary for:

Graphics & User Interface Designers -

You need:

a tremendous knack for design
skills in photoshop & illustrator
CSS & HTML
(and if you have Ruby on Rails or Mobile App Development experience we'll be really, really happy)
good communication skills – the rest of the team should look forward to getting your emails

Code Developers -

We are looking for an front-end rails developer with experience building cross-browser UIs that get noticed.

You should be …

Rails Savy – you have built front-end using Compass, SASS, HAML
Detail Oriented – you eradicate inline styles, and know your projects down to the pixel
Test Driven – You write integration tests
Hey, if you're also a mobile app person, we'll really like you
Javascript/jQuery – nuff said.

Public Relations & Marketing -

Press Release development and delivery
Identification of relevant media stories
Experience building and making the "pitch"
Experience and/or knowledge in SEO and e-mail marketing
