Social Media Intern

Responsibilities: Great on the Job (GOTJ), a high-growth and fast-paced communication training firm targeting young professionals seeks a bright, engaged and enthusiastic brand ambassador with significant business background and a demonstrated interest in professional development. Looking for someone with a solid track record of using social media tools to develop relationships and build brand awareness and loyalty online via the tasks below: Create and manage a Great on the Job LinkedIn Group targeting the 3500+ young professional who have gone through a GOTJ training program Create an active and dynamic conversation among the group generating new content regularly and posting/answering Q&A Keep up-to-date on active career bloggers/writers and leading career sites to engage the broader community and strategically position GOTJ within the community Manage and cultivate GOTJ's presence in additional social media outlets Identify influencers / trends within the professional development space and generate creative ideas around capitalizing on those trends Coordinate and acquire experts to participate in online discussions and webinars Identify "cool new apps" that drive traffic and participation Track, report on and evaluate company's success at online community building Respond to and cultivate online relationships with all website users 

Qualifications: Real passion for today's social networking and collaboration technologies Experience with creating and consuming new content types: websites, blogs, podcasts, wikis, etc. Expertise marketing through subscription-based channels such as RSS, podcasts, blogs, wikis, discussions Self -starter with willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and get the job done Strong writing and editing skills preferred Strong communication and listening skills
