I am a strong leader and absolutely enjoy leadership opportunities. In High School I was President my Sophomore year and was always involved in extra-curricular activities. I focused on scholarship and service with organizations such as: National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Teen Outreach, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and Student Government. At Nova Southeastern University I have continued pursuing these interests by joining a national sorority, Sigma Delta Tau, and holding three positions while being a member, including Chapter President. As President, I have brought organization and structure to the Chapter. I have implemented new policies, such as: stricter payment plans, a point system, requiring workshops for rituals, and adding scholarship programming. I have learned how to remain professional, no matter the circumstance, and how to address any problems that come up within the Chapter. Additionally, I have been able to do what I love throughout my college career by being on the NSU Cheerleading Team. Being on the team has not only given me a sport to be dedicated to, but also rewarding experiences through volunteer work in the community.
