I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Sociology. During my time there, I held two executive officer positions in the Heath Education Center. I was responsible for networking with university faculty, staff, and student organizations to gain support of a campus wide smoke-free policy. This included relaying and compromising the students’ concerns with the Vice-Chancellor’s expectations.

I have launched a green ad campaign for our campus' annual Pause for a Cause video competition, in which we ask students to make Public Service Announcements about how tobacco harms the environment. This campaign utilized old newspapers imprinted with the contest Iogo and website. These ads were plastered in rooms, dormrooms, and around campus. We had 10 video submissions, with a turnout of 150 people to the launch party, which I also booked Debi Austin to speak. I have created 12 media displays the National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. These 10 foot displays showcased the prevalence of eating disorders, and also offered activities that helped foster self esteem. I also organized nightly workshops in the dorms that educated students on healthy eating and media awareness.

I am currently enrolled in public relations training program in which I shadow a publicist gain an understanding of brand development.  I am responsible for maintaining social media for clients as well as creating their branding materials. I also work on Fashion features on PapaLoDown.com, which showcase local fashion businesses and how they thrive within this economy. I have worked as marketing director for a local stylist showroom, which includes contacting local designers to secure samples for the showroom. I have been freelancing as a production assistant for several Bay Area fashion shows, including SNOW and LoveSick5, where I was responsible for organizing the event space, multiple model line ups, and guest lists over 300 guests and press.
