Patient Advocacy

My name is Rebecca Slone and my passion is advocacy especially in the healthcare field.  I have been working with the American Cancer Society on and off since 1993 as a fundraiser.  I also have been fundraising with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society since 2005 and two of those years I was the Assistant Campaign Manager here in Lexington, KY.  I have been trained as a customer service agent face to face and telecommunications.  I have skills for information technology and work daily with computers that include Microsoft Office applications.  I have worked in patient services at two local hospitals as a volunteer and have three clinical rotations in Med-Surg Unit as a student nurse.  If you are looking for a bright, energetic, hard worker that focuses her life on the betterment of others, I am that person.
