I am currently interested in working for general administrative/marketing/social media/public relations/event planning positions within a start-up company or a small to medium size company. Being in a quick-paced environment with a small and talented team has been of great interest to me and definitely a role I can see myself growing from invaluable experience and gaining transferable skills for the future.

Motivated and efficient are a few characteristics that would describe my work ethic. In addition, I learn quickly and can easily cooperate in a team setting. From word processing applications to spreadsheets or video editing, I have extensive knowledge in a variety of computer software and will willingly learn anything else to get the job done. During this past year, I was able to partner with Aspiranet, a non-profit organization, to develop a business plan involving event planning, social media, marketing strategy, and fund raising events. I managed an organization as president of the Vietnamese Student Association at Santa Clara University and lead meetings to organize events with club members and executive board members. In addition, I took part in publicizing a show for an audience of over 200 around the Bay area. My coursework in journalism, public relations, and public speaking has also broadened my areas of expertise.

I am currently a content writer for Silicon Valley Residential Realty and am responsible for improving search engine marketing and optimization results by incorporating strategies such as setting up keyword campaigns and external links to improve the site’s organic search results.
