Emerging Professional

I am a recent graduate from Le Moyne College, Syracuse, NY, with a degree in Communications and a double concentration in advertising and public relations. The purpose of this letter is to express my interest in obtaining an entry level position within a company or organization that provides an avenue for growth where I can exercise my current abilities and develop new skills. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

As my resume indicates, I have extensive background in writing, social media and design. While interning with Syracuse Opera, I created promotional materials, advertisements and spreads that included everything from ticket stubs to highway billboards. Furthermore, during my three and a half years at Le Moyne College I executed creative projects and briefs for non-profit organizations both on an individual and collective basis. Specifically, I independently created a website for Jail Ministry and I assisted in video production for this non-for profit. Lastly, as Social Media Director and contributing writer for Her Campus online magazine, I wrote pieces that specifically ed college students in the areas of news, fashion, health and how-to’s. I also edited and maintained social media pages such as Facebook and Twitter that reach over 200 monthly active users.
