I would like to submit
my candidacy for a photography internship! I am a student at the Moscow
State University (which is the Best in Russia),
pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and I dream to get hands-on
experience in really professional photo-community!
I was interested in photography since my childhood and possess strong skills in studio and reportage, event and portraits photography. In my present position, as a photographer and correspondent in news agency «Greenpress», I take and develop photos of people, events, happenings, or anything as the publication requires. In my last position I worked as a PR- and event-manager in film and television production company and I had a big experience in taking pictures of cinema-celebrities during the film-shooting, film- premieres, press-conferences, festivals and other events. I also possess strong organizing and communication skills and the ability to administer and support any events, such as exhibition, forums, briefings, backgrounders and other.
I have a good knowledge of photo equipment, gear, lighting and techniques. I am proficient in MS WORD, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe Photoshop. In the busy environment of a newsroom, I know the importance of teamwork. I adapt to different formats easily. I am also accustomed to the pressures of deadlines and can successfully deal with temperamental personalities. I’m a reliable, active, self-motivated person, who learns quickly and works fast.
