I am a Junior Marketing Major at the University of Maryland, College Park.

I've excelled in Maryland's Media, Self, and Society Scholars program, where I've learned in depth about the role of media and applied that knowledge creatively by producing videos in teams and writing papers on selected topics. In addition, I've demonstrated my passion for media through my most recent internship with Clear Channel Communications. With that opportunity I handled marketing strategies and brand management for DC101 and BIG100.3, as well as worked in depth with Microsoft Excel to analyze and organize data. I've gained experience in marketing and business practices through my work with Maryland Public Interest Group where I've dealt with research, ground-level marketing projects, and organizing public relations for events. 

I'm educated in marketing, statistics, software applications, creative writing, and media. 

I also feel it's important to note the time I've spent instructing martial arts and women's self defense. It's been a huge part of my life and has made me extremely comfortable both as a leader and in a team environment. The experience has had me teaching kids, adults, and people with mental handicaps, forcing me to hone my communication skills and be able to relate to anyone.

I pride myself on being dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
