As a journalism student, now graduate, at Bradley University I have been immersed in the digital media platform since its implementation into the school system. The position of social media producer is a role that I as a member of the younger generation and as a journalist have been trained in simply by interacting with friends and family online, and while attempting to strengthen my online presence.

Bradley University has helped me perfect my skills with the numerous es that are offered, one of them being Digital Journalism in which as a journalist I wrote for multiple platforms (television, online, and print), created a web package which consisted of an article, a digital graphic and a video, all of these platforms were used to keep the audience up to date and interested in a timely fashion.
My internship with Urbane Perspective Magazine +Lifestyles has also enabled me to become more aware of a publication's online presence as well as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and engaging readers via Facebook and Twitter. Not only have I had internships I also have a website that is updated regularly on the daily news of the day and other timely events that I find of interest for my audience.Stimulation Status has helped my social media skills and how to network and doing so has gained me over 160 followers in less than two years. My website has taught me how to be even more concerned with deadlines and how important it is to engage an audience. Along, with my site I have also been able to sharpen my editing skills by editing other writer's work on the site as well as on Urbane Perspective Magazine + Lifestyles.
