Recent college grad enthusiastic about gaining experience in event planning!

I graduated cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA in May 2010, and as a recent graduate, I am eager to put my skills to work for your organization and to gain some more experience in the event planning industry.  My education has provided me with a solid liberal arts background that carefully honed my written and verbal communication skills.  I have two solid years of administrative experience in diverse capacities.  These positions required me to be extremely organized and detail-oriented.  Additionally, I have worked in retail for 4 consecutive summers developing my customer service and sales skills, two assets that are absolutely essential in the event planning industry.  I am a creative person that has thoroughly enjoyed my past experiences planning events, such as the philanthropic fashion show I helped develop and implement with my sorority last year.  I look forward to hearing about any events-oriented internship you may have available!
