I am creative, dedicated, energetic and a hard worker, and have a strong interest in public relations. I am a high achiever and have strong written and verbal communication skills. I have taken several public relations writing and theory courses, as well as intercultural and organizational communication and behavior courses, which have allowed me to develop valuable skills for this position.

At present, I am a marketing intern at Eric Finn Custom Clothiers. By working on client relations, promotions, events, social media upkeep, search engine optimization, and website analytics, I am diversifying my previous work experience. I developed and executed an email marketing strategy and have planned several events for our high-profile clients, who include top DC executives and athletes. I am also currently a contributor for Ketchum’s Mindfire crowdsourcing website, where I am putting the skills I’ve learned in my es into action by responding to the challenges of Ketchum’s real clients with ideas and tactics for their public relations campaigns.

Additionally, my experiences as a communications intern for the Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF) at the World Bank and as a member of an eight-person research team have developed my team-oriented multi-tasking, writing, and communication skills. Other experiences as a teaching assistant for a public relations writing course and as a part of a top-producing real estate team have also provided me with hands-on experience in writing and editing promotional materials, press releases, and pitches, as well as interacting with clients and industry professionals. Working as student coordinator and social committee chair for Honors Ambassadors also allowed me to experience developing, preparing, and executing special events for the organization and its beneficiaries.
