Please allow me to introduce myself. I will complete my junior year at Cornell University this semester, majoring in Economics and Government, with a minor in International Relations. In addition to my quantitative and analytical abilities, I speak French fluently and am currently studying abroad at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
In addition to my academic training, you will see from my resume that I have extensive work experience in a variety of settings. Last summer, I worked at the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in Washington, DC, in association with the World Bank, preparing analysis regarding the return on investment that the GEF achieved for its sponsors and assisting it to secure on-going funding to achieve its global mission. I also have a number of other work experiences that have taught me the value and importance of collaborating effectively as part of a team and of always contributing my best efforts. I can provide very strong professional references upon request.
I would be glad to speak with you by phone at your convenience at any time to discuss my qualifications in further detail, and I would be available to meet with you in person after I return to the United States on May 22, 2011.
