My name is Whytney and I was born and raised in North Carolina.
I have a love of politics, an interest in non-profit communications and a fascination with social media and the internet. I like technology and I like discovering how to use it and how to implement it into every day use.
Currently I intern at a start-up company in Durham, NC, where I manage the organizations social media accounts. I also write blog posts and help with general upkeep of the blog.
On campus I work for the Political Science Department as a student research assistant where I read and code articles concerning the death penalty in NC. I also work as a stagehand at UNC-Chapel Hill Memorial hall. There, I have the chance to meet and work with people from different countries as I help to build and take down sets for shows.
As you can see, I do a lot of different things, and I have a number of different interests. However, my passion is using social media to interact with others as well as to keep an eye on what is happening in the world.
